These props are adjustable in height and are commonly made of steel, designed to bear heavy loads safely.

Standards (Vertical Tubes): These are the vertical supports that transfer the load of the scaffold down to the ground.

Ledgers (Horizontal Tubes): Horizontal tubes that connect the standards to provide lateral support and stability.
